Motivational Monday!

Next Monday I will again begin teaching John C. Maxwell’s 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth. This book has so many wonderful insights into not only how we can intentionally grow ourselves both personally and professionally but also how we are unintentionally sabotaging our own growth.

One of my favorite sections is when we ask the question: “What are you tolerating?” That is such a powerful question, so much so that we should really be asking ourselves this once a week! We tolerate not only what others do (or don’t do) but also what we are doing (or not doing) to and for ourselves.

It’s Monday. Enough is enough! What are you tolerating? We were taught as kids to behave, don’t rock the boat, follow the rules, and avoid conflict. But now we are adults, right? I’m not encouraging you to pick a fight, not at all. I am encouraging you to find a tactful and appropriate way to no longer tolerate the intolerable. Your suffering, big or small, is not OK.

With Gratitude,
Beth
