Looking for a Miracle?

I was listening to Marianne Williamson over the weekend talk aboutA Course In Miracles(ACIM) and she shared something really interesting about miracles—a note of caution here, miracles come in all sizes not just ginormous. Think much smaller than walking on water or parting the Red Sea.

Ms. Williamson suggested that miracles are “held in trust” for us until we choose to address the situation from a loving heart. Hmm. Well, that made me think. So was I to understand that if I changed my ways, everything would change and the miracle would be released? That sounded intriguing. So I gave it a go.

Son of a gun if it didn’t work right away. I reached out to a friend that I had been struggling with a bit. I took the first step; I came with an open and loving heart. Almost immediately everything changed. We didn’t rehash, we just started fresh. I doubt I would have made the call if I hadn’t heard Marianne Williamson; I really wanted to challenge the “held in trust” supposition. It worked. Little miracles may be “held in trust” for you too.
