Are you a risk-taker? There are a few facts about risk-taking that might surprise you. Women are generally more risk-averse than men but studies show this is a direct result of societal norms and not gender. Risk-taking, like any other skill, can be learned simply by actively taking (small) risks. Ladies, listen up!
Risk taking is directly related to financial growth and job advancement. However you would describe your risk-taking up until now is irrelevant; starting today you can begin exercising your risk-taking muscle. Here is a great list from Riskology: https://www.riskology.co/27-simple-tactics-you-can-use-tod…/.
If you have already started to sweat simply thinking about RISK TAKING, relax. No one is going to ask you to jump out of a plane any time soon. There are so many baby risks you can start with that have very little downside. And, if you have a daughter, encourage her to start taking small risks now. Even though the odds are stacked against her – she has complete control! Make sure she knows it!
With Gratitude,
Beth
