“Legacy is not leaving something for people, it’s leaving something in people.” Peter Strople
We are writing our legacy every day. Some of us are passionately writing pages and some of us have barely picked up the pen. Some will leave a big legacy and others very small.
If you are fortunate enough to be reading this, then your legacy is still being written and the pen is in your hand. And if this has encouraged you to write more of your legacy today and in the days to come, I’d like to share one quote with you:
“ It occurred to me that there were two sets of virtues, the résumé virtues, and the eulogy virtues. The résumé virtues are the skills you bring to the marketplace. The eulogy virtues are the ones that are talked about at your funeral — whether you were kind, brave, honest or faithful. Were you capable of deep love?” David Brooks
Your legacy is about touching the hearts of others. Take a moment to look at those around you and ask “Did I touch their heart?”
Be Good–
Beth
