The Finish Line

I met a dear friend for breakfast yesterday and we talked a little bit about my book, The Wake Up Call (which comes out Monday on Amazon.com!!) I was explaining that it was undoubtedly the most difficult thing I have ever accomplished. The learning curve wasn’t a curve at all, but a line that went straight UP! There were many moments when I wanted to quit, but I couldn’t. Every time I found myself in that place, completely defeated as well as depleted, I thought of my kids—how was I going to look them in the face and tell them that it got too tough so I quit? Simon Sinek will like that why.

Ask any NavySEALs.com, there’s another side, beyond the finish line, that’s amazing. When you are in the muck and mire, you can’t imagine making it through, but I’m here to tell you it’s possible. That’s all you need to know is IT’S POSSIBLE. If I can do it, so can you. I’m not Oprah Winfrey or Bill Gates, or Elon Musk, or LeBron James. I’m just Beth from NJ who was determined to write a book then committed and persevered.

What do you want? Do you want to write a book, change jobs, get promoted, compete athletically, lose weight, start your own business? Be brave and step forward. Remember bravery is not being fearless, it’s being afraid and doing it anyway. If Beth from NJ can do it, SO CAN YOU! Close your eyes and imagine yourself crossing the “finish line” with your accomplishment complete! That’s what I’m talking about! Let’s GO!! You got this!

With Gratitude,
Beth
