Unlocking Your Potential

Merriam Webster defines potential as latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness. And when we talk about potential we often add words like: reaching, maximizing, tapping, and unlocking which makes sense, given Merriam Websters definition, right? Well, “tapping” and “unlocking” definitely make sense, but is “reaching” or “maximizing” even possible?

Today, give some thought to your potential. Reread the definition, as well, with a discerning mind. How are you doing with tapping and unlocking your potential? On a scale from 1-10, where are you? This will require that you look back in time to see your progression. It’s definitely worth the time to give it some thoughtful examination.

I don’t believe we can ever reach or maximize our potential. I believe, if we are still breathing, there is more inside of us to tap or unlock. This goes not only for us, but for those around us. Tapping and unlocking isn’t easy—it requires that we get outside our comfort zone to learn and grow, but it’s always worth it in the end because we are better and stronger after. So today, think about your potential. I will argue it’s unlimited, so prove me wrong! Let’s go! We got this!

With Gratitude,

Beth
