Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Last night, on my last call for my book club on The Wake Up Call, we discussed the excerpt from December 27th—Change? Who Me? If you haven’t read this post before and you own book, I strongly recommend skipping ahead and reading it right now. If you don’t own the book, you can get it on Amazon.com right now for about $13. It’s a great way to set the stage for 2023 being a huge success.

I explained how people come to me professionally because they want a change, but they want to change via some hack or some information they hadn’t heard before. They, themselves, do not want to change. Jim Rohn said it best, “For things to change, we must change.” People hate change, and as a result it’s hard to implement, but often necessary.

So last night we all decided what we will change about ourselves in 2023. I heard answers like, “I will not be a victim,” “I want to stop ruminating,” and “I want to make myself a priority.” Aren’t they awesome changes? My change was that I want to be more persistent— with my ideas, not people. What would you like to commit to changing in 2023? Did any of these inspire you to change? Change is difficult, for sure, but if, in the end, we were no longer a victim, we stopped ruminating, or we made ourselves a priority—wouldn’t it be worth it? I believe so!

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!

P.S. With full transparency, I make less than a dollar on each purchase of my book, so this is simply a good recommendation for your 2023 growth, not a sales pitch.

P.P.S. I apologize if you find yourself singing David Bowie’s, Changes, all day!
