Friday’s Quote

“Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can’t see.” The Polar Express

I want to take this moment to wish you a happy holiday! This Polar Express quote reminds me that what I am most grateful for, as 2022 comes to a close, has to do with you—and neither you nor I can see it.

I am grateful for all the posts you read. I wrote close to 250 of them this year, so we’ve both been busy reading and writing. I am incredibly grateful for those of you who commented—btw, I LOVE comments, even those that challenge me or what I wrote. I can’t thank you enough for sharing my work to family, friends, and colleagues—there’s no greater compliment than that. And as I have said before, there’s nothing without you! You make this circle complete! And as the Polar Express says, that is something we can’t see, but I feel it every single day.

I know this holiday is about presents all wrapped up in beautiful wrapping paper, but sometimes we need to take notice of that which we can’t see—they may be the greatest and most precious gifts of all. We might not be able to see them, but we can feel them. Look with your heart.

So as 2022 comes to a close, this is my wish for you:

Whatever is beautiful,
Whatever is meaningful,
Whatever brings you happiness,
May it be yours this holiday season and throughout the year!

With Love,
Beth
