Friday’s Quote

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you planted.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Happy Friday, everyone! You made it! The weekend is presently upon us. I’m always excited when Friday finally arrives, but I am particularly excited this week. This week felt long. I enjoyed every minute of it, but my calendar was uncharacteristically full. Do you ever feel like that—like the week was more of a sprint than you would have liked? Me, too.

Jim Rohn said, “Either you run the day or the day runs you.” And even though my days were packed, making up for two weeks of vacation and having fun with my daughter while she was on spring break, I still think I lived up to Rohn’s wisdom. Regardless, I really don’t like weeks like this. I don’t want to pack everything in a week that I possibly can—it’s too much. I never want to feel like I NEED Friday to get here—want it to get here, yes, but I don’t want to NEED it to get here. Do you see the difference?

As April approaches, I really want to take in each day to it’s fullest. I want to be consistently two things in April (and beyond): I want to see all of the abundance in my life and I want to be grateful for everything as well. I’m going to invite you to join me. I’ll be sharing some thoughts or pictures of what I see. I think I am missing a lot because I’m not looking. It’s there, I simply need to see it every day. I hope you’ll join me on this journey of awareness. I didn’t see anything this week, I simply pressed forward. And that’s not what Im looking for. How about you?

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
BETH

P.S. Please share your abundance and gratitude as well!
