“If you try and fail, congratulations…most people don’t even try.” ~Unknown
Well, Unknown, you nailed it again! It’s Friday, so let’s keep it simple. First, if we don’t try, it won’t likely happen, right? There is a very small possibility of some random moment of serendipity that will allow it to happen, but 99% of the time, if we don’t try, it won’t happen.
Second, let’s define, “try.” To do that, we need to define what it is we want. So answer this question, “What I really want is _______.” Fill in the blank. Now that you know what you want, what do have to “try” and do so you can have what you really want?
Finally, let’s assume you tried and failed. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you, but if you were brave enough to try once, why not try again? You now know what didn’t work, let’s try something different or speak to someone new—you’re already a head of the person who didn’t even try at all! Failing is like falling, no one stays on the ground. We all get up. Falling may be part of the journey, but keep getting up because you’re getting closer to where you really want to be! One skinned knee never stopped you before, did it? Heck, no!
Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
Beth
