Motivational Monday!

I was watching a show the other day and it was a “before and after” kind of show. This particular show was about a house and the transformation was unbelievable. Some of the changes were big, like knocking down walls, but some were quite small, like changing the paint color. The people who host these kind of shows have budget to make these changes, but they also have the vision—and it’s arguably the vision that is way more important.

So let’s talk about “before and after” for you and me. We’ve already had one which can arguably be described as simply the passage of time, or maybe it was more curated than that. Regardless, we were someone and now we are who we are today! Quite impressive either way. But let’s think about our next “before and after,” the one that’s coming in the next 12 months. If you were hosting this show, what would your vision be for the, “after,” of you 12 months down the road? What would the big reveal show us?

The reason these, “before and after,” shows work is because a lot of thought goes into the vision of the future. They want the homeowner to be amazed at the transformation—and I want that for you and me, too! I started this vision for myself and here are some of the things I thought about: my physical health and well being, my income, my career, my happiness, my lifestyle, my relationships, my finances, my peace, my goals, things I want to learn, habits I want to create, my spirituality, my sleep, my travel, etc. Will you take moment to visualize your future self? Will you go one step further and write it down and revisit it monthly. These are not goals, per se, they are simply the vision you have of your future self 12 months from today. All you need is an open mind and a few minutes!

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
