In The Alchemist, near the end, the old man says to the young boy, “There’s only one way to learn. It’s through action.”
Isn’t that the truth? Think about anything you have learned—riding a bike, cooking, or your current job—all of these things required you to take action steps. When you started out, you probably weren’t all that good, but it was the continued action that made you better. And in the case of the bike, it also made you safer. Action is the catalyst that makes things happen. No one gets better by thinking about it; we learn and grow by taking action.
What do you want to be different in your life than it is right now? Hoping for it and dreaming about it are good first steps because now you have the vision, but the scary part is taking the first action step. 99% of the world hopes and dreams, but it’s the 1% that takes action. Which percent are you? We want to think it will miraculously comes to us, but it won’t. We have to go get it! Will you agree to the first step?
Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
