“The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.” M.K. Clinton
It’s been a really rough week, and maybe sometime soon I will be able to express all that happened. But for now, I think it’s important to realize the mark we leave on people—and we do leave a mark—good or bad.
What if you and I were always loving and kind? ALWAYS! What if I didn’t put on my “shrewd business woman” persona and you didn’t put on your “No one is getting anything over on me” suit? What if being loving and kind was the “shrewdest” thing I could do? And what if being loving and kind opened every door for you?
I found out this week that when you lose someone dear, it hurts your heart. And it hurts your heart because it’s all about how they made you FEEL when you were together—even if no words were ever exchanged between you. So as we embrace this Friday, know that every interaction is the possibility for us to touch someone’s heart—good or bad. We get that choice every day. So what if we tried to love unconditionally all day—everyday? Let go of anger and hate. Forget the judgement and the who’s better than whom. Maybe even forgive and forget. Let’s try love, maybe WE will feel better, too!
Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
Beth
