This is the week that we actually move! Everything leading up to this week has been packing, purging, and changing addresses. Maybe you have been there once or twice? It’s not really a whole lot of fun. My and Doug’s minds have been on overload—do this, cancel that, what are we doing with that, did they call you back, oh shoot, I forgot about the ___, etc. As a result of all of this extra thinking, I have found myself wide awake at 5 am—and sometimes 4:30!
The good news is that I am on FIRE at 5 am! Anything that doesn’t require me to actually talk with a human can get done in the wee hours of the morning, and it does! I’m not going to recommend that you get up at 5 am, although some of you already do. What I am recommending is getting an earlier start by just 15 minutes! That little amount of time can be a game changer if you plan it right.
Before I went to bed last night, I wrote down 5 things that were weighing heavy on my mind that I did NOT want waking me up in the middle of the night. I even put times on my calendar for when I would address them. Getting up earlier allowed me the time to get them done before their scheduled time. This gave my day a much calmer beginning. I also benefited from a very early sense of accomplishment. There aren’t a lot ways to add more time to our day, but this 15 minutes is a game changer—if you plan accordingly!
Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
Beth
