It’s Friday. Summer is over. Q4 is here and we are in the final stretch of this year. Describe your life to me right now. If you could sum it up into one word, what would that word or phrase be? If I were to ask you on a scale of 1-10, 10 being outstanding, what’s the number for your life right now and why did you pick that number? If you could define what Tony Robbins is calling your “consistent thoughts,” what are they?
If you are struggling to define all of this for yourself, turn your attention to someone with whom you are close. It’s often much easier to see the mirror that someone else is seeing themselves through. Are they optimistic, hopeful, anxious, worried, or something else? Life is nothing but a mirror of your consistent thoughts.
We can either allow the runaway train of thoughts to continue to happen in our mind, OR we can change our thoughts. Yes, we can do this. You might be thinking, “Easier said then done,” but guess what? That’s a thought that you don’t need to believe. Today, listen to your thoughts—if you don’t like the thought, then change it. It’s that simple. I didn’t say easy, but I did say simple. Your life will change when you take the time to pick new thoughts that aren’t helping you live the life you want to live. You can do this!
