The Enemy That Steals Our Joy

What are you worried about? Stop and really think about your #1 worry. Do you have it? OK, now ask yourself who would I be and what would I be able to see if I could erase this worry?

“Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere” (Glenn Turner). Worry is your imagination on overdrive creating scenarios that are often not only unlikely but improbable. How would things change if you knew deep inside of you there existed a supreme self who is always at peace – and that worry is a choice and so is peace?

At any moment we can all tap into this inner peace. The truth is we can all choose peace over worry every single day. Some days will be easier than others for sure, but peace is ALWAYS there. Try to tap into that peace today. Exercise your right. Don’t let worry hijack your thinking, its an incredibly unproductive enemy that is stealing our joy.

With Gratitude,
Beth
