Friday’s Quote

“Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor.” Rumi.

How would your life change if you believed this quote? What if life was completely rigged in your favor? What if you already had the winning hand? The deck was stacked in your favor and the dealer was giving you a wink. Would you feel differently? Of course, you would.

Life can often feel like we are out on the ocean in a very small boat being tossed about, continuously battered by the relentless waves, fighting to stay afloat with very little control. What if that was not the case at all. What if all of the “tumultuousness of the seas” was on purpose and for our greater good? We needed these waves to make us stronger, perhaps even change our direction.

You may not agree with Rumi, and you will be right. This thought will also determine the life you lead, putting you firmly in agreement with life being hard. On the other hand, if you agree with Rumi, you will also be right. It’s a thought that becomes a mindset, that changes the way we conduct ourselves. So is Rumi right or wrong? Your choice, and either way, you will be right.

Happy Friday!
Beth
