Do you ever stop and say out loud, “I have a good life!” Do you ever think it? We tend to think about what needs to be fixed because that’s what demands our attention, but a good life is not a perfect life. There is no such thing as a perfect life. But if we really listen to this brilliant “Unknown,” we might just realize we are living the good life every single day!
Today, and every day, complete these simple tasks:
1. Smile often! Make it your task to make someone else smile—even with a mask on! Smile now, it’s good practice.
2. Dream big! What is your best dream right now? We should be thinking about our dream every day. It takes less than a minute to visualize a dream. Take the time.
3. Laugh a lot! If you aren’t laughing every day then it’s time to start. Watch a funny video, call a funny friend, or read a funny post, but don’t let a day go by without laughing.
4. Realize how blessed you are! You can count your blessing if you’d like, but that will be incredibly time consuming because there are so many. That’s right, while we were focused on everything that was wrong, we forgot all that was so right. You and I are living the good life and perhaps we didn’t even know it. Maybe we just overlooked the good life that was right in front of us. Enjoy all of your many blessings and I will too. Happy Friday!
