Wisdom Sharing

This morning I watched the YouTube video of the meeting of Jalen Hurts, Mike Vick, Donovan McNabb, and ESPNanalyst Robert Griffin III inside the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. If you’re not an Philadelphia Eagles fan, that’s OK, it’s worth watching anyway. It’s only 7-minutes long, but in 7-minutes you’ll get a little bit about friendship, mentoring, “each one teach one,” character, hard work, respect, leadership, and personal growth.

Watching them chat on the steps inside the museum, I wondered how often past quarterbacks speak with current quarterbacks. Are they chatting with Hurts simply because he’s only 24 or because he’s about to show up on the biggest stage in football? Probably both.

I imagine Hurts got a lot out of chatting with these two men. Clearly he has a great amount of respect for them and others, like Randall Cunningham and Rodney Peete. Wisdom, not because you’re smart, but because you’ve lived it, is something worth sharing. It’s priceless, actually. Who could benefit from your wisdom? Can you create a wisdom sharing opportunity? Just a thought.

Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
