Motivational Monday!

Mondays are rough in the summer, right? It’s a little harder to get motivated after a weekend of fun in the sun—or, if you were in NJ this past weekend, the rain. Regardless of the weather, the summer is when we let our hair down, take Fridays off, kick back a bit and relax because we know September is right around the corner, and that’s when we kick back into overdrive.

So reading an article on how to become unstoppable on Friday, July 14th, wasn’t my best low key, “let our hair down, take Friday’s off, kick back a bit and relax,” move. But, as they say, “you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.” The key takeaway was that to become unstoppable one needs to take action by deciding what one wants and breaking through self-imposed limitations that keeps one from getting there. This is super straight forward and simple, but not easy.

I’m going to ask both you and me the same question: What do you want? Most people can’t even answer that question so how could we become unstoppable if we don’t know what we want? The next two instructions are to take action and to break through self-imposed limitations that keep us from getting there! Are you taking action? That’s a huge obstacle people find hard to overcome, they are paralyzed with fear. Lastly, what self-imposed limitations have you saddled yourself with? Is it, “I don’t know how,” “I’m too old,” or “I don’t have enough money?” Or do you have a better excuse? If you want to be unstoppable, and I know you do or you wouldn’t be reading this—what we need to do is simple, not easy, but we CAN do it!
