While we were in Ireland in September, I watched a man create this on Grafton Street in downtown Dublin. It was my first time seeing someone paint graffiti, and it was incredible to witness his mastery of the spray can (you can see them below the art). There’s no room for error, right? If you look closely, the “canvas” is actually Saran Wrap stretched tightly between two poles. Ingenious!
Monday’s are tough days. It’s often hard to get started. For some of you, you don’t even want to be at your job. This gentle reminder is for you: while we can’t always control every thought that crosses our mind, we can choose to be kind to ourselves and shift toward a more positive thought. It’s not about finding a silver lining—it’s about reminding ourselves that we hold the power over our thoughts.
So if you hate your job—think a better thought, like “It’s a paycheck and I love money!” If it’s a rough day already—think a better thought, and play “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor to pick up your spirits. And if you have so much to do today it seems overwhelming—think a better thought, and plan treats along the way like your favorite coffee, or DoorDash a great lunch. There has to be something that can make the day better, and the mind is a great place to start!
Let’s GO! WE GOT THIS!
